HR & Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: Rockville, MD (100% Onsite)
Salary: $70k - $80k annually
Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR & Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our client's growing team in Rockville, MD. This is a fully in-office role responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process while supporting key human resources functions. Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
Utilize job boards, social media, networking, and other sourcing tools to attract qualified candidates
Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process
Maintain and track recruitment metrics and pipeline activity
Human Resources
Support onboarding and orientation for new hires
Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS data accuracy
Assist with employee relations, policies, and compliance matters
Support performance management and employee engagement initiatives
Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
2-5 years of experience in HR and/or talent acquisition
Strong knowledge of recruiting best practices and HR fundamentals
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Proficiency in HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
Preferred Skills
Experience supporting a fast-paced or growing organization
Familiarity with employment laws and HR compliance
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
